Professional photographers are gonna hate this. #kanyeshrugThe last few days, weeks, months, and years have awakened a consciousness in me that — while I wasn’t in denial about — wasn’t really at the forefront of who I am. Not the way it is fighting to get through now. Struggling with the idea that, in 2016, #Blackness is still something to be hated and feared. That the only thing we deserve for embracing the things we have developed for ourselves is derision.
